Short description

Fried liver slices with bacon and onions.


Ingredients

800 g (1.7 lb)calf's liver
200 g (0.4 lb)bacon
3onions
 salt and pepper
 olive oil

Preparation

Remove skin from liver, cut into thin slices of approximately 1 cm (half an inch) and season with salt and pepper.

Grease a large baking pan with the olive oil and place the liver slices in it. Now bring the bacon strips arranging them on top. Add also sliced onions. Pour in some olive oil and bake in pre-heated oven (180 C/350 F/British Gas Mark 4) for 30 minutes.
