Short description

Delicious cake with accentuated coconut flavor.


1 kg (2.2 lbs)yuca (same as: manioc or cassava)
250 ml (8.5 oz)coconut milk
2 cupssugar
3 tablespoonsbutter
200 g (7 oz)shredded coconut
half teaspoonsalt



Peel and rinse yuca then cut into small pieces. You can also use a grater for this. Bring pieces (or grated yuca) and all other ingredients into a blender and blend well. Grease and dust a flat, wide pan and pour mixture in. Bake in a hot oven for 50 minutes or until golden brown.
